Anya is a highly motivated and experienced executive leader. Building on her decades of experience at one of the largest public Prepaid Inpatient Health Plans in Michigan, Anya has made it her mission to improve the state of non-profit healthcare through financial innovation. She combines her extensive finance expertise with a broad range of administrative skills, including strategic planning, financial modeling, resource allocation, budget development, and human resources management. Anya is a previous recipient of the Crains 40 under 40 honors and continues to be driven by her passion for supporting underserved populations in behavioral health.

As CEO, Josh leads a brilliant team toward sustainable growth by focusing on the success of our clients. Grounded in creativity, stewardship, and trust, his work integrates strategy, design, and systems thinking, motivated by a deep concern for the people receiving services. From directly caring for people with serious mental illness to guiding statewide system change, Josh brings over 20 years of expertise in strategy, policy, management, quality improvement, and data science to support the health and human services field, with partners ranging from state governments to health plans to providers. Collaborating with boards, leaders, and operational teams, Josh helps to set purposeful direction and foster disciplined execution by growing high-performing, interdisciplinary teams to innovate and achieve excellence.

Travis Atkison

Travis Atkison, MA-LP

Travis embodies a vision for excellence and leadership in behavioral health. With over 20 years of experience in both clinical and managerial roles, he is passionate about creating healthy and effective behavioral health systems. He actively seeks out best practices through research and by connecting with providers at local, state, and national levels. An outstanding training instructor, coach, meeting facilitator, and conference presenter, Travis is a past recipient of the National Association of Crisis Organization Directors' “Making the Mission” Award and a founding board member of the Crisis Residential Association.

He spent over a decade performing various roles in the financial services industry before transitioning to the field of data analysis. His ability to listen, learn, and support others has been instrumental in his success. Adam leverages his extensive knowledge across both public and private health sectors to provide insightful recommendations, conduct effective training sessions, and assess crisis systems.

With a master’s degree in public health and experience in behavioral health quality and utilization management, Amanda brings a well-rounded perspective to her analytical work within community care systems. Her proficiency in using data tools like SQL, R, and Power BI enables her to effectively analyze consumer demographics and service utilization data. Amanda is able to simplify complex information by creating insightful visualizations at both the state and county levels.

Brent has also held senior IT positions in a science and engineering firm as well as a Fortune 100 organization.

Carey Sebera, JD, LCSW

Carey is a seasoned behavioral health leader with more than 20 years of clinical, operational, and legal experience. A licensed clinical social worker and attorney, she has served in executive roles nationwide across hospitals, substance use programs, and innovative practices such as ketamine and TMS centers. Her expertise spans strategy, compliance, operations, and service delivery improvement, with consulting experience in executive coaching, M&A, audits, program development, and EHR/analytics support. Known as a thoughtful and collaborative leader, Carey combines deep expertise with a warm, engaging presence to help teams achieve their mission.

As co-founder and CEO Emeritus, Jason continues to provide strategic leadership as a director on the Company’s board. His past experiences include decades of leadership in governmental entities, private industry, health plans, and as a military commander with over 27 years of Air Force service. Upon request, Jason can provide relational coaching for executives or give compelling presentations representing TBD Solutions.

Kevin Bakos, MBA

Kevin provides guidance and perspective as the Board Member at Large for TBD Solutions. His career path has been highlighted by positions and opportunities that improve people’s lives. With over 30 years of experience as a finance professional in public health, behavioral health, substance abuse and local governmental settings, Kevin has developed a cross functional set of skills that creates synergies in group settings. He has led groups in the areas of financial management, contract management, healthcare billing and system conversions for electronic medical records and general ledgers. Kevin has sought to improve efficiency through managing personnel skill sets and implementing new technologies.

Laura Vredeveld, MA

As co-founder and President Emeritus, Laura built a career in service to others as a masters-level psychologist through her efforts in provider organizations, county-based care systems, health plan administration, and public state collaboratives. Her consultative expertise was highly sought from a broad range of customers of every size, from national Fortune 100 firms and state governments to small non-profits. She remains a sought-after speaker and writer, and is passionate about improving the lives of people served as the chair of the TBD Solutions board of directors.
